News of redundancies is starting to filter in: Freightos was forced to make some 50 staff redundant, about 20% of its workforce, reports JOC. Head of marketing Eytan Buchman said on LinkedIn: “Freightos is very much live and kicking, though (we’re seeing close to record search and new buyer volumes). We just know that, going forward, this will likely be tough and we’re trying to be responsible and as up front as possible for long-term success. Difficult times for everyone ahead, I fear.”
The lay-offs will mostly impact Freightos’s rate marketplace business, said JOC.
