Crane Worldwide Logistics is beefing up its customs brokerage and trade advisory team with the appointment of Alexandra Kleinschmidt.
Ms Kleinschmidt, a licensed customs broker, will lead the team in Houston.
She joins from DHL Global Forwarding, where she was senior director customs sales US for more than a year. Prior to that, she spent two years at Panalpina as south district head of customs services, following stints at both DB Schenker and Expeditors.
“Crane Worldwide is an aggressive growth company that works with many like-minded clients, said Chad Taylor, executive vice president global operations. “Alexandra is not only considered an expert in the field, but is also a perfect fit for a company with a strong work ethic.”
The company added: “Providing both trade consulting and customs brokerage services enables a platform for clients to keep informed in the ever-changing requirements during the lifecycle of a customs entry, as well as necessary resource to keep up-to-date on trade mitigations, developments and foreseeable recoveries.”
