Luxembourg, 27 September 2013. Cargolux Airlines International S.A. took delivery of LX-VCI, ‘City of Troisvierges’, on 26 September from Boeing in Seattle. The airline’s ninth 747-8 Freighter, which brings the combined 747 fleet to 19 units, was routed via Los Angeles and landed in Luxembourg on the morning of 27 September where it was greeted by journalists waiting to catch a glimpse of Cargolux’s latest workhorse. The new aircraft carried a full load of 135 tonnes of freight on its first flight to Luxembourg.
