Bangladesh factories ignored evacuation order before collapse

Yes, times are tough. And yes, it must be hard for retailers and manufacturers to police factories in developing countries. But that has to be the price of cheap labour ? establishing and ensuring some basic rights and standards for workers. Because it has happened again ? more than 175 people died in Dhaka when a building housing several garment factories collapsed. Major brands which sourced from the factories include Joe Fresh, Primark and The Children’s Place.
