‘I need a dollar, dollar a dollar is what I need’
Agility has appointed Markus Lingohr as managing director for Area Central Europe, responsible for its operations in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland.
Mr Lingohr joins from Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, where he was managing director for air and ocean Germany, with responsibility for all 12 Hellmann locations there. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the logistics industry.
“Markus has profound knowledge of the logistics industry, extensive management experience and deep understanding of the European market. He brings insights that will be invaluable in his new position,” said Mike Bible, CEO, Agility Europe. “He is well-versed in managing large teams and complex challenges, and he comes with strong knowledge of the operational side of the business.”
Mr Linghor has also worked for Circle Freight (now CEVA Logistics), Thyssen Haniel Logistics (now DSV), and DB Schenker. He will be based in Hamburg.
