The long-running discussions over whether Ryanair could or should take over Aer Lingus have failed so far to take in account cargo. Although another cargo-carrying airline may well be happy to step in if there’s money to be made, (and traffic rights to be had), Irish exporters are understandably concerned about Michael O’Leary’s potential effect on the freight business.
